The popular Pole stepped into the breach when Adrian Miedzinski reluctantly left the Pirates under pressure from his Polish club. Kasprzak who began his British career with the Pirates back in 2003 was a natural replacement after spending five seasons away from his adopted Poole home. Bidding for a place in the 2013 GP campaign, Leszno-based Kasprzak has been a league champion winner three times with the Pirates - the back to back years of 2003 and 2004 and again in 2008. Somewhat surprisingly overlooked by the Polish authorities for a place in their SWC team for 2012 , Kasprzak helped his country to three SWC titles in the odd-number years of 2007, 2009 and 2011.
