EXIT B FOR BOTH PIRATES IN ROUND 3

11th January 2017

Both Brady Kurtz, the defending Australian Champion, and Jack Holder qualified for the B final in round three of the Australian Championships today at Undera but were denied a chance of the grand final by a retirement and a defeat by Max Fricke, respectively.

Both of the 2017 Pirates scored 10 points in the qualifying heats but with one round remaining (Saturday) they find themselves well out of contention of a championship rostrun spot.

The Undera round was won by Justin Sedgmen who moves into a 3 point lead in the series over Sam Masters, with Poole favourite Dave Watt slipping to third in the standings, 7 points adrift of top spot after a disappointing 7 point return in this latest event.
