Dackarna rider Nicki Pedersen put his home track knowledge to perfect use as he charged to his 15th all-time Grand Prix victory but was unable to make any inroads into series leader Tai Woffinden as they both finished their night in Malilla, Sweden on 17 GP points, Woffinden working his way to the runners-up spot ahead of wild card Antonio Lindback.

Maciej Janowski has been crowned a GP winner  at his fifth attempt - his 12 points over the 20 heats earning him top ranking as the Latvian GP was abandoned prior to the semi-finals.

The Speedway Control Bureau have ruled that the result of the Coventry v Poole league match which was abandoned after 10 heats on Monday June 1st will stand following their recent investigation to the events that prevailed on that night.

A catastrophic start to their meeting got mildly better as the meeting progressed but the Pirates couldn't quite maintain their sequence of picking up some league reward for their efforts, eventually going down by 8 points to the rejuvenated Swindon Robins.
