DATE OF BIRTH: 3RD NOVEMBER 1980
Began his British career with the Pirates where he formed a formidable reserve partnership with Polish wonderkid Krzysztof Cegielski. He moved on two seasons later but returned to Wimborne Road in 2009 after spells with Peterborough and Ipswich.
A veteran of 87 Grand Prix appearances but last appeared in the series back in 2012. Has won four rounds in his career and also represented Denmark in the Speedway World Cup.
A play-off opponent to the Pirates in the last four years, Andersen begins his third term with the Pirates coming back on a 6.45 average.
